Zoom!

 June 1, 2020

By  QJ composer

Zoom has gone bonkers!

A million users were logged by May 2013. This leapt to 10 million users a year later (June 2014), and 40 million around two years post-launch (February 2015).

But coronavirus has changed everything.

This year, 2020, has seen Zoom really take off.

Zoom usage shot up in March 2020. Over the course of that month, Zoom was seeing 200 million daily meeting participants.

The following month, this figure had risen to 300 million.

As a key platform for video conferencing, I’ll be giving Zoom a lot of attention over the coming weeks and months.

QJ composer

Hi I'm QJ - a composer of music and sonic art.
My music is mostly dark, cold and unsettling.
A theme park full of intense, scary rides, and sonic thrills.

It's sometimes about social issues I feel strongly about.
It's designed to elicit emotional responses.

I hope you enjoy some of it.
Please do leave your comment: I want to learn about how you react to music - especially mine (even if it makes you uncomfortable).

Enjoy the roller-coaster! ... and big thanks.
