Cheek to Cheeky Cheek

By  QJé composer

Rooting through the QJ music productions archive, I found this on a very old cassette.

It's me old matey Mahc E Desade, and yours truly mucking about with one of my favourite songs.

Yes, you can here the Bananarama-type background - and not so background - vocals, the Simmonds electronic drums, the latest synth sounds, my love of weird percussion (which includes a fire extinguisher), Mahc on sax, me on the usual muckin' about.

I love it. Should 'ave bin a hit.

Never got released.

Hope you like it.

Here is the music...

  • It’s like a cross betwixt Taco’s 80’s version of Puttin’ on the Ritz, and the theme song of a 70’s Rankin Bass cartoon show with the dude from the Clash on lead vocals. Cute and Novel.

Hi I'm QJ - a composer of music and sonic art.
My music is mostly dark, cold and unsettling.
A theme park full of intense, scary rides, and sonic thrills.

It's sometimes about social issues I feel strongly about.
It's designed to elicit emotional responses.

I hope you enjoy some of it.
Please do leave your comment: I want to learn about how you react to music - especially mine (even if it makes you uncomfortable).

Enjoy the roller-coaster! ... and big thanks.
